THE HOUSE.

THE HOUSE: Holly Villa is a mid 19C house built originally for a family able to afford 2 or 3 servants . The original kitchen to the house was in the basement and now forms part of the private living accommodation. The original dining room is still being used today with breakfast being served every morning to visitors from around the world. All of the original features, fireplace, cornices dado rails etc, still survive and the room is furnished sympathetically.

 

A cosy sitting room is provided for our guests to relax in after a hard day's sight seeing, and retail therapy! Alternatively relax with a book in one of the secret corners of our pretty garden, on a warm summer afternoon. Breakfast at Holly Villa is not for the fainthearted, there is always a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad or yoghurts, with a traditional English breakfast cooked as only Keith knows how, hot toast and lashings of fresh coffee or tea to keep you going all day, in fact we guarantee you won't feel hungry until at least 3.00 in the afternoon!
